All Things Hot Dog- Firewurst Restaurant Review

They even had a pumpkin with their name on it.

Wouldn’t you just know it.  Mom thought of going to Firewurst, a new restaurant in Cary that serves hot dogs, brats, sausages and other misnomers that, again, have nothing to do with dogs.

Anyway, they have plenty of tables and chairs outside for me.  Dad ordered a spicy chicken dog, whatever that would be and said it was very good.  He especially liked the variety of mustards available(including spicy) so he could have a double dose of heat.  Mom had a brat with cheese and liked hers too.  They both had them with grilled onions and peppers.  People thought it was really funny seeing a real dog dressed up as a hot dog, eating at hot dog place- a triple entendre.  We ate at the Shoppes of Kildaire- 1377 Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary.  There are 2 other locations  1823 N. Harrison Ave. in Cary and in the Brier Creek Shopping Center next to the movie theater.
